April Spotlight: Kevin Moylan

Welcome to April! We’re getting ever closer to those wonderful summer months, but we still have time to highlight and celebrate some talented and hard-working educators before our well-deserved break. April’s spotlight member is Kevin Moylan, an English teacher at University Park Campus School. Mr. Moylan has taught for 22 years in middle and high school, has two children, and lives in Worcester with his wife, another teacher in the system.

Member Spotlight March – Cecelia Spencer

Spring is here! (Technically…)

As we’re springing into something new, it’s fitting that our spotlight member for march is Cecelia Spencer, a first-year teacher at Sullivan Middle School. Cecelia was nominated by a colleague – if you want to nominate someone, just click through and fill out this form!

Member Spotlight February – Paula Pietro Malmquist

For the first time ever, this person had not one but SEVERAL colleagues nominate her for Spotlight Member.  They all commented on the dedication and hard work she demonstrates in her job every day!   It is with great pleasure, that we present the February Member Spotlight to Paula Pietro Malmquist!

How’s it all start?

Growing up I always knew what I wanted to do and it was all because of my uncle.  I had an uncle that had Down syndrome who needed special care.  I knew then that I wanted to attend David Hill Fanning Trade, where I could have experience working with children who have special needs and learning disabilities.  So on September 7, 1976, I got a job at Grafton Street Preschool working with special education students.  I truly enjoyed working with these children.  In fact, these children inspired me to further my education so that I could [ Read More ]
