Rise up for your right to negotiate, organize and fight for a better life through collective power.
On Monday, Feb. 26, educators, firefighters, nurses, social workers and other public employees across the state will be standing up for strong unions with the freedom to negotiate for fair compensation, good working conditions and excellent public services
THE CHALLENGE: The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in Janus vs. AFSCME on Feb. 26. Backed by the same corporate CEO’s and billionaires who want to privatize public education, this case is intended is to weaken the power of employees to organize for better jobs for ourselves, better lives for the people we serve and better communities for all.
THE RESPONSE: They may strike a blow against unions in court, but we are striking back at our schools and campuses by building our collective power. Whether it’s defeating Question 2, stopping the GIC, or fighting for a fair contract, we are All In for our collective power.
PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!
We are meeting with our union brothers and sisters again on Friday.
